How to Get Much Better Hair?
How to Have a Better Hair? What Works?
Are you trying to make your hair look shiny and healthy? Are you trying but it does not work out? It does not matter you are male or female — hair problems can be very similar for both sexes. And solutions are often also the same.
One of the solutions to multiple hair, dry and damaged hair, even skin problems, I using oils to hydrate hair or skin (or even nails).
And one of the best and most known for ages methods is to use coconut oil products. Virgin coconut oil or unrefined coconut oil is one of the oldest and trusted skin moisturizer and hair treatments in tropical countries.
Virgin coconut oil is better than most expensive commercial moisturizer and hair conditioners in the market, because it does not only soften rough skin, it is also loaded with antioxidants that help repair skin damage and strengthen skin tissues therefore preventing wrinkles.
Coconut Oil Is Only Oil Found To Reduce Protein Loss
The my findings clearly indicate the strong impact which coconut oil application has to hair, as compared to application of many other oils.
Among the three tested oils, coconut oil was the only oil found to reduce the protein loss remarkably for both undamaged and damaged hair when used as a pre-wash and post-wash grooming product.
For example, sunflower and mineral oils do not help at all in reducing the protein loss from hair. This difference in results could arise from the composition of each of these oils.
Ability for Oils to Properly Penetrate the Hair Shaft
Coconut oil is a triglyceride of lauric acid. It’s a principal fatty acid and has a high affinity for hair proteins. Because of its low molecular weight and straight linear chain, coconut oil is able to successfully penetrate inside the hair shaft.
We have collected reviews and responses from many women (and some men) who successfully used coconut oil products to help restore damaged hair, dix it, moisturize it, repair it, make it healthier and better — this having hair from loss.
Here are responses from various happy people:
“I pretty much shampoo my hair as needed and have found that coconut oil is my hair’s best friend in keeping it moisturized and restoring some of the natural oil lost in shampooing.
I used to use olive oil, but coconut oil is a little heavier without making my hair greasy and it feels softer once it dries.” J.
“I was using it twice daily for a few months and did notice that my hair seemed to be growing faster. I would massage it into my scalp in the morning and use it to seal my ends and I did the same thing at night before tying my hair down.” A.
“Coconut Oil works it makes hair nice and fluffy. Coconut oil is something i would suggest you to use :) I definitely recommend coconut oil to use since I got almost instant results from trying it out! Plus, it smells so good 😊” N.
“I swear. I stopped using coconut oil for a year, and my hair was just not acting right. Went back to it, and its like my hair is thanking me. Something about that coconut oil man”. J.
“I love this oil. To me it is the closest thing to conditioner. Amazing by itself on damp hair as a deep treatment (1hour, plastic cap or heat cap, slather as much as you like and wash it out with any cheap conditioner). Fractionated coconut oil is odorless and it keeps liquid, curious to try it.”
“This is why I love coconut oil and I have never experienced that crunchy feeling either. My hair is very fine and coconut oil is one of the few oils that I can use w/o my hair feeling heavy and greasy.
I use it as a prepoo, sometimes as an oil rinse, sometimes to seal or for shine. I also use it on my skin I used it a lot on my stomach when I was pregnant and it worked great.”
“You could try clarifying your hair before doing an oil treatment; then applying the oil treatment to wet hair. If your hair has a residue from conditioner, the oil may not absorb, therefore resulting in crunchy hair.”
“I love coconut oil! Every woman that bleaches or uses permanent dyes needs to know about it.”
“High quality coconut water is full of wonderful electrolytes like magnesium and potassium that is essential for proper hydration. .”
How to use coconut oil?
“I usually use it after washing. Wash, condition, rinse well, towel dry, grease my hands up with a little bit of that stuff and scrunch it into damp hair, especially the damaged ends, comb through, and, what’s most important, let it air dry. Works for me.”
“I love coconut oil, I use it for everything! I use it for overnight deep conditioning treatments like you did, I rub conditioner into it in the morning before I get into the shower to get it out as I try and avoid shampoo.”
“Extra virgin coconut oil will help you to get soft and silky and problem free hair. Massage it gently on your hair and scalp, leave it overnight, shampoo as usual in the morning. Do it regularly to get problem free hair” D.
“Apply coconut oil and massage it to my scalp 4~5 times a week, right before I go to bed. I would do it more (every day), but it makes your hair look greasy, and will keep it that way until 3 days have passed or any amount of shampoo is placed (it takes very little shampoo).
I don’t want to shampoo more than 3 times a week, and I wouldn’t recommend more than that for anyone (I’m ok with my hair looking greasy on days where I don’t go to school and have nothing planned socially).”
“It has no negative effects whatsoever, so giving it a try doesn’t hurt. At worst case scenario it acts as a conditioner, keeps hair healthy, and keeps blood flow to scalp, but there is nothing proven to suggest it does something for MPB or DHT.”
“Hi, there! Unrefined, virgin, organic coconut oil is what I use frequently as an all around skin moisturizer and occasionally as an over night scalp treatment. It’s great because coconut oil not only deep conditions, but it’s also a natural antibiotic and anti-fungal.
When applied to the scalp, there is evidence to suggest that it helps prevent hair breakages (because of the naturally occuring lauric acid in the coconut oil). It’d be interesting to research more into the correlation between coconut oil and hair growth.”
“Coconut oil & lemon juice — In addition to helping strengthen your hair so it will grow faster, this treatment gets rid of dandruff quite quickly. It’s simple too — just mix one part lemon juice with two parts coconut oil and massage it into your scalp.
Leave it in your hair anywhere from 4 hours to overnight and gently rinse it out with cool water the next morning. Note: Use this treatment at least once a week.”
Oil for Face Skin Use
“That being said, I take about 50 grams of coconut oil to the face every day, and I love it.”
